Vision Statement

The vision of the Public Protection Cabinet (PPC) will be an agency that embodies equitable and inclusive policies and practices for all employees and our regulated industries in order to deliver the best public service to every citizen and business in Kentucky.

Mission Statement

PPC protects the public and regulates industries with diverse backgrounds.  In doing so, we strive to create and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect; both in the workplace and with our community partners. 

We promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect by being transparent, impartial, free of discrimination and harassment, and equitable for all members of our Cabinet and citizens of the Commonwealth, regardless of their background or life experiences. 

We are committed to creating this culture by establishing and maintaining a diverse workforce, cultivating an inclusive work environment, and fostering respect and empathy in our daily interactions with our co-workers and the public.

We will achieve this culture by being intentional in making diversity and inclusion a value that we practice daily in our hiring, training, program initiatives, and regulation of the industries and communities we serve.
